I love writing. I always have, and I suspect I always will. And I think it's important for a writer to write every day-- let me rephrase that-- I think it's important for a writer to write creatively every day.
However, amongst homework, piano lessons, homework, marching band, homework, and countless other hectic things in my life, it is next to impossible for me to write every day. So, my new solution: blogging.
With blogging, I figure I can be flexible with what I write about; I can write about random topics, while perhaps using this as a way to track my "real" writing (I've written one short story, started several others, and dreamt of writing a novel) and get encouragement (wink wink, this is where you come in).
Besides the flexibility of writing a blog, another main point is that it's easy. It will help me write more often-- perhaps not every day, but more often than now, which is next to never.
Thank you for your support! I don't know how to write a blog; I never have before, but it can't be that hard, right?
